Ananda Acharya on Fear and Yoga
Let none begin Yoga whose heart is obsessed with fear, for fear is the mother of fatigue. From fatigue is born the illusion of failure and if the sense of failure becomes confirmed, the Yoga that has been undertaken instead of being beneficent only leads to ill consequences. Begin Yoga therefore with a natural enthusiasm and a spontaneous hopefulness. Hope is the pre-perception of success.
